ROTARY CLUB OF HANEY THANK YOU LETTER

Dear Scott:

As you know the Rotary Club of Haney sponsored its' 15th Annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. It was an excellent event and raised over $27,000. We want to thank you for your continuing support in the form of your significant general and hole in one sponsorship.The Rotary Club of Haney is a service club that provides support to many worthwhile programs in our community. The majority of the funds raised are focused on local residents in need. For example "The Lunch Bag Program" is coordinated by MRPM Community Services and the Salvation Army. Volunteers put together 1751 lunches and deliver them to 13 schools in our district every day. Ongoing funding is needed for the program to continue and, with your support, Rotary has provided funding to this program for each of the past four years.

Several other examples of Rotary's work focus on helping youth achieve success. Rotary provides a number of bursaries to deserving students from local secondary schools who are seeking higher education. Rotary also contributes to the North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association (for children and adults who are challenged with brain injuries, cerebral palsy, autism and developmental delays). These are just a few of the projects Rotary supports with assistance from organizations like yours. Of course we would be most appreciative of any feedback you may wish to provide on any aspect of the tournament to ensure we have offered an appropriate level of recognition for your contribution.
