All-new 2025 Toyota 4Runner makes Canadian debut at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto

At this month’s Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Canadians will get their first opportunity to explore the brand new 2025 Toyota 4Runner – including the first-ever 4Runner built around a high-torque, high-efficiency hybrid powertrain.

The 6th generation 4Runner builds on the legendary SUV’s rock-solid reputation for go-anywhere capability and authenticity, with eight grades tailored to a broad range of lifestyles. These include the first-ever 4Runner Hybrid, built around Toyota’s i-FORCE MAX electrified powertrain, which delivers 326 horsepower and up to 465 lb-ft of torque, plus impressive fuel efficiency. This new vehicle also introduces an all-new Platinum grade, plus the backcountry adventure-focussed Trailhunter grade.

The Toyota exhibit will showcase two distinctive 4Runner models:

• The seven-passenger 4Runner Limited fills the authentic, legendary SUV with comfort and amenities.
• The top-grade five-passenger 4Runner i-FORCE MAX Trailhunter is the ultimate SUV specially designed for overlanding and factory-fitted with a rugged and ready package of integrated off-roading equipment.

In addition to the new 4Runner, the Toyota exhibit will showcase the company’s full range of vehicles – underlining the company’s standing as the only full-line automaker, offering a vehicle for every Canadian to suit a variety of lifestyle, needs, and budget. Toyota’s display will include the new Camry, Crown Signia, Tacoma, Land Cruiser, a new GR Corolla with an automatic transmission, and zero-emissions vehicles such as the battery-electric bZ4X, Prius PHEV, RAV4 PHEV, and fuel-cell electric Mirai - plus a full range of fun-to-drive, fun-to-own sedans, coupes, and hatchbacks… stylish and versatile crossovers and minivans… and ready-for-anything SUVs and pick-up trucks.
